SERVICES

ADHD Coaching

As an ADHD coach, I use a special set of skills, based on years of experience and training, to empower my clients to manage their attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.  I bring to coaching the most current ADHD knowledge, compassion, ethical practices, and a set of tools and strategies that I use to facilitate positive change for my clients.  This collaborative partnership empowers clients to learn about and understand themselves so that they can meet their goals and create the life they want.  In a safe, non-judgmental environment, I help individuals impacted by ADHD to develop self-awareness, to gain understanding of his or her obstacles, and to create strategies, systems, and supportive environments that foster momentum to move toward specific goals.  I spend equal time helping clients to develop self-regulatory, social, and executive function skills on an individualized basis. Most importantly, I approach my clients with appreciation, understanding, and a deep regard for them as naturally resourceful and creative.

About Me

Susan Ritchie

Although I was a lawyer for many years, I changed the course of my career when one of my children was diagnosed with ADHD.  My accredited coach training has certified me to coach children, teens, college students, adults, and families. In the last few years alone, I have taken over 200 hours of ICF- and PAAC-accredited coaching courses in an effort to grow and serve a broader population. I have spent many years working with ADHD children at a variety of schools, both in Houston and in other parts of the country, helping them not only to develop strategies for their immediate situations but also skills that will serve them in the future.  A significant portion of my practice includes coaching ADHD adults and families as a whole who have been impacted by ADHD. I am committed to partnering with my clients to live more effective and satisfying lives.
